"Thy word is truth," prayed Jesus with the twelve.The word that in itself has power to healHe knew and ministered, giving the mealOf gladness to the world; to those that delveIn matter's fruitless soil he showed the real.

He showed man in Love's likeness, perfect, pure,And spoke of when the Comforter should come;All things would be explained, the voices dumbSing songs of joyous praise, and feet made sureThrough Truth step forth, their fetters overcome.
