In an article in a recent issue there is reference made to the teachings of Mary Baker Eddy, Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science. Since the statement referred to gives an erroneous impression of these teachings, kindly grant me the privilege of correcting it.

The article in question asserts that a certain person "also has incorporated some of Mrs. Eddy's teachings of theosophy, mainly those dealing with the doctrine of reincarnation."

The teachings of Mrs. Eddy are based upon the Bible, especially the words and works of Christ Jesus, and constitute the revelation of the Science of Christianity or Christian Science. Theosophy, on the other hand, is a differing system of philosophy. There is no similarity or connection between the two.
