It is with sincere gratitude that I am submitting this long-delayed testimony, telling what Christian Science has done for me, and the great spiritual wealth it has brought into my life. My heart overflows with thanks to God for giving us, through our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, the Word of Truth, which is reaching all mankind today.

I became interested in Christian Science about fifteen years ago, at which time I was married and left my parents' home to reside in a large western city. I was not in good health, and my mother, who was interested in Christian Science and had experienced its healing power, gave me a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy to take with me.

Through divine Providence we rented an apartment in a building which was managed by a woman who had been a student of Christian Science for many years. I informed her that I had a copy of the Christian Science textbook, although I did not know much about Science, and she invited me to study the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly with her, which I did. I also attended the Wednesday evening meetings and the services on Sunday morning, and I am grateful to this dear student for guiding my first steps in Christian Science.
