Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication

South Dakota.

No attacks on Christian Science have been reported in newspapers. Pamphlets misrepresenting Christian Science and Mrs. Eddy continue to be distributed by denominations and sects, but appear to have slight if any effect on those few people who read them.

There are forty-eight newspapers in South Dakota receiving The Christian Science Monitor on advertising exchange basis. Letters of appreciation have been received from editors along with their renewal subscriptions. Quotations from two of the letters are: "We miss The Christian Science Monitor here in our office since our subscription expired. It is a wonderful paper and members of our staff read it consistently." "We like your paper and want to keep it coming."
