With a heart overflowing with gratitude, I desire to testify to the healing power of Christian Science.

About nine years ago my body was badly wrenched. I did not feel any bad effects at the time, but a neighbor present said, "You'll suffer for that." I laughed as I replied, "No, I don't think so," and then forgot all about the incident.

Two days later a terrific pain suddenly made itself felt. I could neither sit down, nor lie down, but walked the floor in agony and repeated "the scientific statement of being" given us by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, on page 468 of Science and Health. My family wanted me to go to a hospital to be X-rayed. To this I could not consent and kept declaring that I did not need or want a doctor, for God was right there. While declaring this over and over as I walked the floor, I suddenly felt as though my stomach turned completely over; and I felt it settle into place. Pain vanished instantly and complete harmony resulted. I have never had the slightest inconvenience since, and this all occurred in less than a half-hour.
