Mary Baker Eddy, the author of the Christian Science...

Courier-Express,

Mary Baker Eddy, the author of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," referring to her discovery, writes in "No and Yes" (p. 13), "No greater opposites can be conceived of, physically, morally, and spiritually, than Christian Science, spiritualism, and theosophy." One who understands Christian Science realizes that under no circumstances would it be possible to blend Christian Science with spiritualism or theosophy.

In the "Cambridge History of American Literature" (Vol. IV, p. 526) the Rev. Lyman P. Powell, former pastor of St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, New York City, writes: "Christian Science as it is today is really its founder's creation . . . As a whole the system described in Science and Health is hers, and nothing that can ever happen will make it less than hers."

Christian Scientists respect the rights of all men to worship God according to their conscience. Further, Christian Scientists seek at all times to show due consideration and courtesy for others' religion.
