No article criticizing or attacking Christian Science or our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, has appeared in the Colorado press during the past year.

Your Committee has been active in interviewing city and state officials and governing bodies of state institutions relative to infringements upon the rights of Christian Scientists. Their attempts to require medical attention and treatment in certain instances resulted from their unacquaintance with exemptions in the laws. When the exemptions were called to their attention, in most cases the officials readily recognized their errors and corrected them.
