Lecturer: John Randall Dunn; introduced by Mrs. Jane Beilby Carey, who said:—

When I was at college, many years ago, I was unable to reconcile theories of evolution with the teachings of the Bible. Ministers of all denominations who preached to us invariably told us that we should interpret the Bible spiritually. At this time I read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and found that it contained the spiritual interpretation of the Bible which I was seeking.

The understanding of God which I have gained from reading this book has brought me the joyful conviction that the Bible is true; and it has healed me of a condition of the eyes which had troubled me for several years.
