Reflection

Beside the road a pool, small but serene,
Heedless of hurried toil, watching the sky,
Became a jewel of iridescent sheen,
Offering its beauty to each passer-by.

And so may we by prayerful watchfulness
Reflect the beauty of reality;
Each thought, like silver pool in faithfulness,
Shine with Love's light, mirror infinity.
