South London Observer

In a recent issue a correspondent criticies Christian Science apparently without having studied the subject. I would recommend him to read the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, in order to gain a fair estimate of this religion from an authentic source.

Christian Science is based on the Bible, and because of its basic Bible teaching it should appeal to your correspondent, who is evidently a lover of the Scriptures.

Christian Science offers substantial proof of its efficacy by healing all manner of disease and sin. If one is sufficiently interested to attend a midweek testimony meeting at a Christian Science church, he cannot fail to be impressed by the sincerity of the service and the earnestness of the congregation. He will hear members of the congregation testify at this meeting to the healings they have experienced through the ministrations of Christian Science.
