I give this testimony in the hope that it will benefit others. About thirty-six years ago, before I became a Christian Scientist, I had a piece of cartilage cut out of one nostril. As the years passed, my nostril gave me much trouble, because it had not properly healed.

When I had been practicing Christian Science for a good many years, I realized I should express normalcy in breathing, so I did my work scientifically, in a very thorough manner, as I thought. I was not healed at first, however. Then, one day, I read in the Sentinel of a woman who went to a practitioner for help. She was healed of her difficulty, but scars remained. When she realized the unreality, according to divine metaphysics, of any illness, the scars disappeared.

I saw that I had been making a reality of the operation, and I began to work again, on a new basis. My nostril was immediately healed, and ever since I have been able to breathe normally.
