One of the many beautiful healings recorded in the Bible is that of Simon's wife's mother. In the fourth chapter of the Gospel of Luke we are told that she "was taken with a great fever," but that when Christ Jesus rebuked this discordant condition it left her, "and immediately she arose and ministered unto them." She had been instantaneously healed, and her first thought was to show her gratitude through some loving service to others.
