The Christian Science Organization at Chico State College...

The Christian Science Organization at Chico State College is now five years of age. In these progressive years its members have voiced unceasing gratitude to Mary Baker Eddy for provision for such an organization, for the loving care of The Mother Church, and for the rich unfoldment that comes thereby after Sunday school days are passed.

In maintaining outside contacts with workers in the Field of Christian Science, the organization has helped members to have a wider vision. The many letters from other college organizations have been helpful. There is a sharing of good thoughts that makes for progress. The Christian Science lectures given by members of the Board of Lectureship of The Mother Church have brought encouragement to members of the organization and others.

The organization has helped its members to maintain right attitudes of thought toward their fellow students and their professors, and other persons on the campus, through stimulating their desire to study and practice Christian Science. This study and practice has enabled them to meet daily problems of prejudice, gossip, and oversensitiveness. It has helped them also in their work and examinations.
