"Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." These comforting and assuring words spoken by Jesus to his troubled disciples to sustain and uphold them in the coming trial of separation, have also carried their message of peace and blessing down through the ages to many a sorrowing and troubled heart.

I am deeply grateful to Mrs. Eddy for her untiring love and work in giving again to the world the Christly method of healing embodied in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," the study of which has altogether changed my outlook on life and given me a wider sphere of thought.

A severe nervous breakdown, with its attendant beliefs and fears, has been gradually overcome by the study of the textbook and the help of a practitioner. The healing was slow, for many medical theories had to be discarded.
