I wish to express my gratitude for the many blessings that have come to me through Christian Science.

When I took up the study it was for the healing of hereditary tuberculosis, for my father had passed on with the same trouble I was having—tubercular laryngitis. At the time I had my first treatment from a practitioner I could not speak above a whisper. After several weeks I could speak as well as ever, and in a few months the cough was gone.

I am also most grateful for an instantaneous healing of stomach trouble, from which I was suffering at the time I began to study Christian Science. I had these attacks every few months and suffered terribly. One evening I was suddenly taken ill, and my husband tried to get in touch with the practitioner who had been treating me, but was unable to reach her. He then called another practitioner, a woman whom I had never seen, and told her of my condition. Before he returned from the telephone the pain began to lessen, and in a short time I was able to go to sleep. This healing took place over twelve years ago, and I have never had a return of the trouble.
