It is with sincere gratitude that I give this testimony of the many blessings I have received through the study and application of Christian Science.

One healing, which is outstanding to me, took place over seven years ago. I suddenly became ill with ptomaine poisoning. This was overcome in a short time, but I was left with a distressing condition in the right side. This condition continued for two or three weeks. My husband, being only slightly interested in Christian Science, became greatly alarmed and called a physician, who diagnosed the case as tumor. He said that he would not be responsible for the results unless I had an operation immediately. The practitioner in charge worked faithfully, and within twelve hours the tumor broke and passed away harmoniously. I am indeed grateful for this and other physical healings, but I am far more grateful for the spiritual understanding I have gained through the study of Christian Science.

At the passing on of a dear one, I was wonderfully lifted out of a sense of separation and sorrow. I was able to see more clearly the deathless man of God's creating. These words from the twenty-third Psalm were given to me at this time and were a great help: "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death." It reads "walk through." We do not need to stop or linger.
