A remark in a letter of a recent issue might lead your readers to infer that the Bible is ignored in the teachings of Christian Science.

Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, based her discovery upon the Bible. Christian Science is a continuation of primitive Christianity under present-day conditions, and it also proves that the works done in Bible times do not belong to a dispensation now ended, but can be understood and practically demonstrated now.

In conclusion, let me quote from the religious Tenets of Christian Science (Manual, p. 15): "As adherents of Truth, we take the inspired Word of the Bible as our sufficient guide to eternal Life."
