I desire to acknowledge the innumerable benefits which I have experienced through reading the many inspiring and encouraging testimonies in the Christian Science periodicals.

I first heard of this wonderful truth, which heals all our ills, over twenty years ago. While I did not have a complete healing at that time, due to my method of handling the situation, I did experience an almost instantaneous relief from excruciating pain. And better still, the seed of Truth was sown, and since that time the fruition has been both abundant and gratifying.

My next experience was the healing of chronic constipation. This was followed a few years later by the complete eradication of chronic nervous sick headaches. This condition had extended over a period of approximately ten years, causing intense suffering and much loss of time from my work. These attacks occurred on an average once in each month and lasted for three or four days. I experienced an instantaneous healing through the help of a Christian Science practitioner. This took place more than ten years ago, and since then I have been entirely free from this condition.

Through the help of practitioners I have been lifted out of several discordant business conditions and undesirable situations. I have experienced the healing of constant colds, and a chronic catarrhal condition of several years' standing. Likewise, the smoking habit, the use of intoxicating liquors as a social habit, the telling of salacious stories, the habit of using profanity, and many other unlovely traits of character have completely vanished from my consciousness. All this has resulted from the consistent reading of the Bible and the inspired writings of Mary Baker Eddy.

While I am extremely grateful for all the blessings, the physical and moral healings which I have experienced, through the study and application of the teaching of Christian Science, I am still more grateful for the spiritual unfoldment and the correct understanding which I have gained of the true relationship of God and man.

I desire to express gratitude to all the loving, loyal, and consecrated practitioners who have helped me over many rough places. I am grateful to God, the Giver of all good; to Christ Jesus the Way-shower; to Mrs. Eddy for her consecrated and untiring efforts for suffering humanity; for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, and for the privilege of serving in church work.
