It is with a heart overflowing with gratitude that I send this testimony. I want everyone to know of some of the wonderful proofs of the power of God to heal which I have had. I was healed of insanity, after five doctors had sentenced me to an insane asylum for life; also of a fibrous growth which they said would have to be removed together with certain organs. One day in starting down a flight of very steep steps, I fell from the top, striking my head on a post at the bottom and cutting a long gash on my forehead. A Christian Science practitioner was called, and inside of an hour the edges were drawn together. There was no swelling or discoloration, and I have had no trouble with it since. Another time a kettle of boiling water was spilled on my leg, scalding it very badly; but that too was entirely healed with the help of a practitioner, leaving no bad results.

I love Mrs. Eddy for giving us our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." It makes the truth so plain; and through it we know better how to worship God and follow the example Christ Jesus left us.
