For over twenty years Christian Science has been my only physician, and it has never failed me when properly applied. Words cannot express the gratitude I feel for the many wonderful proofs I have had of God's power to heal and protect. An experience that stands out is one of protection from fire. I had just filled the tank of a gasoline stove, and, owing to a leak, as I lighted one of the burners the flame shot up towards the tank. I pulled off the tank, which was on fire, and in throwing it out of a window my clothing and the lace curtains of the window caught fire, and my arm was badly burned. I declared the truth of the omnipresence of divine Love, as one is taught in Christian Science, and the flames died down, and with the loving help of a practitioner, my arm was completely healed in a week, not even a scar being left.

I have been healed of a tumor, pleurisy, sprained ankle, and many other ills through the study of Christian Science. I am most grateful to God, who can heal all our diseases; also grateful for the unselfish and generous work of our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, which made it possible for mankind to prove the omnipresence of divine Love. I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, and for the periodicals, with their inspiring and strengthening manna.
