Having been many times encouraged and uplifted by the testimonies of others, I should like to bear witness to the healing power of Truth as taught in Christian Science. I did not become interested in Christian Science for physical healing, but because it answered questions for me that had before remained unanswered. One of the problems that seemed insurmountable was the old doctrine of foreordination and predestination. So, when a member of the family with whom this question had often been discussed took up the study of Christian Science and one day told me that I would accept its teaching on this point, I said I would read the literature she offered me.

Since that time, about fourteen years ago, we have had in our home many proofs of the power of Truth to heal every discordant condition that has presented itself. Diphtheria, measles, mumps, fevers, stomach disorder, colds, various wounds, influenza, nervous shock resulting from the extraction of teeth, have all vanished before the power of Truth. Being a mother I have found Christian Science a great benefit in handling children's problems.
