With deep gratitude for all the blessings I have received through Christian Science I wish to give my testimony. For fifteen years I had been a heavy smoker of cigarettes. I tried many times to give up the habit, but could not. After I had read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy for two months the craving disappeared, and I was very grateful. Another demonstration has meant very much to me. I am a musician, and was playing in a vaudeville theater when it was turned into a burlesque theater. Being a student of Christian Science I did not think it a very suitable place to be and tried many times to change my position. After trying in vain, I started to know the truth that man reflects God everywhere, and that if I was not in my right place I would be removed. I did not think any more about it after that. Two weeks later someone from another house asked me if I would care to change my position to work for him in one of the finest houses in New Jersey. I accepted the offer. I am truly grateful for all the help I have received in the Reading Rooms, from practitioners, and from all the literature.
