[Original testimony in German]
Due to various circumstances, Christian Science found...
Due to various circumstances, Christian Science found me a mental wreck, and suffering from a chronic eye complaint. Although this complaint was not considered incurable, all conscientious attempts of the doctors to heal it had been in vain, and I was hindered in everything I did. Being more than discouraged, I at once grasped at this new teaching. After one Christian Science treatment I was free and could return home without the eye bandage.
At that time I did not know how the healing had been accomplished, but I learned to recognize that I could be freed from all mental anguish, and I took up the study of Christian Science in earnest. In the intervening time I have been abundantly blessed through Christian Science; and I am so grateful for the privilege of belonging to that happy group of people who cherish the truth as their most valuable possession, and as their ever demonstrable help in all emergencies. In the words of the Psalmist I say, "Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare."
