The Father's Business
All
the business that is true,
Is from God, and given you,
That His glory may abound,
In your daily business round.
Open heart and open hand
Best receive divine command.
Thus, with open hand and heart,
Learn of God, and do your part.
From His vast and boundless store,
He has given, given more
Than your open hands can hold,
Or your open heart enfold.
Utilize the boundless store;
When you need it, there is more,
If by every act and thought,
All your work in Him is wrought.
Thus it is, when day is past,
And you homeward turn at last,
You may confidently say:
God employed me; He will pay.
