Many blessings have come to me through the study of Christian Science. I was healed of chronic bowel trouble, nervousness, and fear by reading the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, before I had attended a Christian Science service or knew about the Christian Science Quarterly Bible Lessons.

My first physical healing, through the work of a practitioner, was instantaneous. About nine years ago I slipped on an icy porch and fell five steps, striking the lower end of the spine on each step. Having only a very slight understanding of Truth at the time, I was unable to overcome the intense pain and allowed a sense of fear to overcome me. After several days I called at a practitioner's office and asked for help, which was most lovingly given; and upon leaving his office I found I was perfectly healed.

For these healings I am very grateful, but I am more grateful for having found a way whereby I can look at the bright side of all circumstances in my daily life, and be able to live with more sincerity toward God.—(Miss) Ada Belle Convis, Battle Creek, Michigan.
