NASHUA, NEW HAMPSHIRE (First Church).—Announcement was made to-day of the purchase of the Stark homestead, at the junction of Concord and Manchester Streets, by First Church of Christ, Scientist, of Nashua, for church purposes. An immediate start will be made on alterations, renovating the property so that it will be ready for occupancy by August 1. Present plans of the interior alterations will provide an auditorium accommodating from eighty to ninety people. There will also be a Reading Room at the left of the main entrance hall, which will be open every from two to five o'clock. There is no present change contemplated to involve the general exterior appearance or contour of the structure. The property occupies a most attractive site at the junction of the two above-mentioned streets.
