Ten years ago I was healed of tuberculosis after noted physicians and specialists had said I could not live long, as one lung was gone and the other affected. I was healed in ten weeks through Christian Science treatment, and gained health rapidly. Now I am unusually strong and robust looking. I have freed from neuritis, which seemed to cause much pain in my foot; also of any and all desire to seek relief from pain in morphine or drugs. This was a slow healing, but one through which I derived a great deal of benefit.

For eight years I have been an earnest student of Christian Science. During my early study of our beloved text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I suddenly realized that weakness of the eyes had entirely disappeared. Now people sometimes remark upon my good eyesight. Before coming into Science I occasionally wore glasses; and once, when ill with blood poisoning, I was totally blind for a time. I was obliged to give up a career as a dramatic teacher because of a diseased condition of the throat, which at times made my voice fail utterly. Now my voice is strong and clear, and I am always sure of it. The greatest of all blessings to me is that I know in Christian Science one has an understanding of divine Principle, whereby every ill "that flesh is heir to" may be met and overcome, not only for one's self but for others.

I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church; also for class instruction.
