About five years ago a chronic inactivity of the bowels, for which medicine was constantly being taken, became worse. I sought a Christian Science practitioner, who very lovingly and faithfully treated me; and in a few weeks the condition was overcome. While I am very grateful for the physical healings, my deepest gratitude is for a better understanding of God; for our great Way-shower, Christ Jesus; for our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy; and for all her writings, which have explained the Bible so that it has become my daily companion.
