In the fall of 1912 I took up Christian Science; and after reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy for a few weeks, was healed of the liquor habit without any other effort on my part. I had told a friend I would not stop drinking, as I did not drink much and it did not hurt me. The next time I went where liquor was, I had no desire for it. Later on I was healed of smoking. I had smoked for forty years.

In 1913 I had what was considered hereditary consumption. I asked a Christian Science practitioner for help, which was lovingly given, and was healed in a short time. I was also healed of tobacco chewing. I am sixty-seven years old, and do work that many young men think too hard for them. I do not know what it is to be fatigued.

I am a member of The Mother Church; also of a branch church. I am most grateful to God and to Christ Jesus the Way-shower; also to Mary Baker Eddy, for these and many more healings that space will not permit me to relate. I am sending this testimony in the hope that it may help some one, as the testimonies in the Journal and Sentinel have done me so much good.—Joseph E. Sharp, Oshkosh, Wis.
