I am writing this testimony with a desire to help my fellow-men. When a youth I contracted measles and suffered a relapse, which left me a victim of the dreaded disease called asthma. My parents took me to the best physicians in this country and in Europe, but they failed to help me. My only relief was in change of climate and a powder which I used constantly. I was a sufferer from this disease for fifty years; and during an epidemic I suffered intensely and became despondent.

It was at this time that Christian Science was recommended to me. I had a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and began reading; but did not grasp its meaning. I then realized that I needed a practitioner. After my second visit to the practitioner, I was healed. I continued to call on her, as what she told me helped to give me a clearer understanding. I am now free, and able to walk and enjoy life to the uttermost. I am also free from the tobacco habit.
