With pleasure I send my testimony as to what Christian Science has done for me and mine. Five years ago, I had just spent my last dollar on a bottle of medicine for my wife, when an angel of God's presence caused me to tell a friend my tale of woe. He was a student of Christian Science, about which I had never heard. I told him I was about at the end of my row, as I had been spending all I could rake and scrape up for medicine for my wife, and the doctors had said she could not be healed of pellagra, which she had had for years. My friend told me to have no fear, but have my wife read the Sentinel which he gave me. Inside of a week or two she was well and out in the field helping me, completely healed.

A few years afterwards my baby boy had infantile paralysis; and nine doctors passed the death sentence. Two of the doctors, after taking an X-ray picture, confirmed the sentence. I had help from a Christian Science practitioner, and the baby was healed at once. When I went to pay the doctor for taking the X-ray picture, he said, "I am awfully sorry for you, George; I know the child is dead." I told him that Christian Science had healed him, and that he was playing around, happy as a lark.

Since then my wife has had a painless childbirth. We have had many more demonstrations, which cause us to be very grateful to Mrs. Eddy for founding Christian Science to bless and heal the world.—George Watson, Rome, Ga.
