I wish to add another expression of gratitude to the many...

I wish to add another expression of gratitude to the many already given. It was in August, 1918, when I saw my first copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy and read the chapter on Prayer. After the passing on of a loved one four years ago, I became dissatisfied with my religion and, thank God, I was very anxious to try Christian Science. Life to me then was not worth living, but Love's healing cleanses and purifies.

I have never asked the aid of a practitioner, but have tried to remember at all times that, "What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." I have been healed of rheumatism, throat trouble, fainting attacks; I have also had weak eyes a greater part of my life and can now see to do the finest work and read as long as I desire, a pleasure I had been deprived of for several years. I have had many other demonstrations, most all of which have been instantaneous. I am far from any Christian Scientists, but know if I keep ever in thought the right idea of God I shall progress.
