Had it not been for Christian Science I would not be here...
Had it not been for Christian Science I would not be here to-day to express my deep gratitude for what it has been to me. When I first learned of it I was suffering with a complication of diseases and was taking medicine every hour of the day. This continued for about one year, when the doctors told me they could do no more for me. At this time a friend of our family, seeing our great need of Christian Science, brought us the good tidings and I was the first one to go and see a practitioner, who gave me just one treatment and I was perfectly healed and went home rejoicing. On getting home the first thing I did was to empty my medicine case and I have never tasted or had any desire to taste medicine of any kind since that day and that is now over twenty years ago. Although I have met with many seeming troubles, divine Love, when properly relied upon, has met my every need.
The physical healings are not to be compared with the spiritual understanding of the Bible gained through the study of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, in connection with the Bible. Words fail to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me and mine.
Mrs. Louis Schofield, Minneapolis, Minn.
