I now feel it a blessed opportunity to tell of the many...

I now feel it a blessed opportunity to tell of the many blessings I have received through Christian Science. It is almost five years since I first heard of this healing truth. At that time I was a physical wreck, suffering with stomach trouble in its worst form, as I could hardly eat any kind of food, but was only drinking milk with raw eggs in it, and was very weak and nervous. I was healed of this in one week, and have had many other proofs since then. All material means were thrown away; all trust was put in God, and I have been wonderfully helped. I have been healed of sciatic rheumatism, nervous chills, colds which I had often, sore throat, burns, and wasp stings which before I knew of Christian Science gave me suffering. I have proved with my understanding of Christian Science that they are harmless, and they did not produce the slightest pain or swelling I had one operation without receiving any help for an internal trouble for which I had doctored for years. When I told the physicians of the recurrence of this condition, they advised me to have another operation, but I did not. Since I am gaining an understanding of Christian Science this has almost vanished. In December, 1918, another form of stomach trouble appeared, and a very severe case of kidney trouble. I felt I was very near passing on, but thanks be to God, through the loving help of a practitioner I was healed.

One more healing I want to tell, which was wonderful to me,—blood poisoning of the finger. This healing took place a few years ago. I am very grateful for Christian Science, and say, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; who redeemeth thy life from destruction." I am grateful for the help received through practitioners, and to Mrs. Eddy that she was pure enough to reveal this blessed healing truth to the world in this age.
