When I first heard of Christian Science nine or ten years ago, I was in great need of physical healing. Through my own study of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and loving help at times from a practitioner, I have been healed of anaemia, dyspepsia, and nervous depression, also terrible headaches, the last named making my life an intolerable burden. Everything that loving parents could possibly do for me was done, and I had different kinds of material treatment, but nothing ever did me any permanent good; and when I heard of Christian Science I had nearly given up all hope of ever being well again.

My gratitude for the physical healing is deep, but I could not find words to express my gratitude for the moral and spiritual healing. Through a time of great struggle and deep darkness I realized that man's completeness is in God, also that love, companionship, and happiness are spiritual ideas, ever present. Through bereavement and loneliness I have been sustained and helped by the consciousness of divine Love's ever presence. I am grateful that now in some degree I am able to help others, and very grateful to our beloved Leader for giving us this truth which has brought to our understanding the light of "the glorious liberty of the children of God." Selfishness, discontent, and jealousy are giving way to a sense of joy, peace, and happiness, and I am learning in Christian Science what Jesus meant when he said, "Peace, be still," to every form of error.—(Miss) Ada Fletcher, Markland Hill, Bolton, England.
