A few years ago I was led to Christian Science by a friend who had been benefited, and I was healed of floating kidney after having been told by several physicians that an operation was the only means of relief. I have also been healed of stomach and bowel trouble, and have left off glasses that I had worn for years. It has seemed hard for me to overcome the habit of pleading with God as though He were person, also of outlining results, but this is being overcome as I strive to leave the old thought. A severe headache was overcome instantaneously one day through the silent declaration of God's allness and knowing that since the trouble did not come from Him it had no control over me. I sometimes wonder how I would ever have gone on, had it not been for the wonderful truths revealed through Christian Science, and I am deeply grateful.
