Last winter I had influenza, as did also my husband and little girl. Their cases were met very quickly, and I thought mine was too, with the exception of a slight irritation in the throat. Then about twelve o'clock one night I awoke with a sensation that I was strangling to death—I could hardly breathe. I tried to treat myself, but seemed to be getting worse instead of better, and the more I worked the worse I seemed to be getting, when this verse came to me:—

"I know not why sometimes I fall,
Seem to forget that God is all;
I grasp His outstretched arm, and lo!
God is! this is enough to know."
