Early one morning in 1917 I fell down stairs, twisting my right ankle under me. The pain was so severe I could at first only sit still and declare the truth. Then I managed to get upstairs and dress. After getting breakfast and doing some work I took "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and read until four o'clock that afternoon, when the pain all left me. At seven o'clock the swelling had gone down, and I had no more trouble. The same year my husband, my son, and I were healed of ptomaine poisoning in half an hour. Bilious headaches of years' standing have been overcome through the work of a practitioner. I have been able since to help myself and members of my family, as well as others.

I thank God, and am deeply grateful to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for Christian Science, which has brought peace and happiness into my home and drawn us all to the feet of the beloved Master.
