As one who has derived untold benefits from the study of Science and Health in connection with the Bible, I take this opportunity of telling others what it has done of me. It was the Christmas of 1911 that a great sense of fear seemed to overtake me. I tried in my own way to overcome it, as I had never before been afraid of anything, but in a few weeks was taken to a medical doctor in a shaking and trembling condition. He pronounced the trouble nervous prostration and heart disease and said that I might live three days; that if I did live longer i would become helpless. As I left his office he remarked, "Use Christian Science." These words stayed with me about twenty-four hours, and at the end of that time I made up my mind to do so. I went to a practitioner, asked for treatment, and was greatly relieved. The textbook appealed to me very much from the start, and while I had many ups and downs it was not long before I could begin to demonstrate for myself, and in a short time was entirely healed. My heart overflows with gratitude to God for revealing this truth to Mrs. Eddy, who so unselfishly labored to give it to the world.

I am glad to state that the above testimony is correct. It has certainly been proved to us that an understanding of God is an ever present help.
