Ten years ago last summer, I called at a lady's house on business and found she was a Christian Scientist. I had been a little interested in this subject and during my conversation with her I told her how I had suffered for over two years as a result of a strain and that it tired me to walk even a couple of blocks; also that I had had very severe headaches, lasting weeks at a time, and my eyes pained me very much. I also told her I would like to go to church but there was no one to go with me, so she provided a way for me to get home until I was able to make my demonstration and go home alone, for I was a young girl then. At my first visit to the church I was entirely healed of the trouble referred to. I have also been healed of an impediment in the speech, which I had had for about thirteen years.

During the influenza scare last winter the two children and myself were taken ill. The children had the disease very severely and we attribute their recovery entirely to the power of Truth. Christian Science has been my only religion, and through its study I have been greatly uplifted morally, mentally, and physically. I am indeed grateful.
