Man's God-given Dominion

To practice Christian Science, or even to study it intelligently, every student needs continually to observe the distinction it makes between reality and illusion, and especially to notice this distinction in its application to man.

Praise and Thanksgiving

Prayer constitutes a large part of our spiritual life, and a very important part of prayer is praise and thanksgiving, for these as understood in Christian Science include the answer to prayer, acknowledging the spiritual fact as a present reality.

Activity

Activity as applied to work in Christian Science is a much misunderstood term, and this because of its purely spiritual nature.

"Little foxes"

When even a small understanding of Christian Science is sufficient to bring a feeling of security to the human consciousness, it is strange that the student is inclined to underrate the prophylactic side of this teaching until one of the many incidents which go to make up the human sense of existence causes him to think what a deep debt of gratitude he owes for the revelation of the ever presence and protection of divine Truth.

A Robin's Song

The Near Future

These are days when the world is mobilizing its resources to the last available unit; but, because "all is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation".

The Lectures

During a period of nearly sixteen years I have applied the truth as taught in Christian Science and it has never failed me.
Like many others, I came into Christian Science when God found opportunity in my necessity.
Fourteen years ago, while searching for a more intimate knowledge of God, I was led to Christian Science through reading an adverse article in the daily newspaper.
Before taking up the study of Christian Science I suffered much from sensitiveness, thinking that people did not like me and were slighting me.
Christian Science has been in our home almost ever since I can remember, but it has only been in the last few years that I have thoroughly appreciated it and tried to put into practice the truths I have been learning.
One afternoon, toward the end of November, 1915, I was in my kitchen, which measures only about eight feet by nine and has one whole side of glass.
It is with a sense of deep gratitude for the numerous blessings which have come to me through the study of Christian Science that I add my testimony to the many which tell of the richness of this, God's blessing poured out to mankind.
It is over six years since Christian Science was demonstrated to my satisfaction in my cousin's home in the East, where I was visiting at the time, causing me to lay aside my prejudice and to investigate the wonderful truth.
One Sunday morning I found upon arising that my face and entire body were covered with what appeared to be a rash, and I had a high fever.
