It is over six years since Christian Science was demonstrated to my satisfaction in my cousin's home in the East, where I was visiting at the time, causing me to lay aside my prejudice and to investigate the wonderful truth. Only God knows of the struggles and the battles that have been fought in my passage through the wilderness.

At the time of my wonderful healing over three years ago I was not able to stand. For five years I had suffered terribly from ingrowing toe-nails, and in July the toes became so swollen and inflamed that my friends urged me to have medical attention. I knew too much of Christian Science to want to give it up, and I clung to the thought that "with God all things are possible;" but after three days of suffering I sent for a practitioner, who came with such confidence and assurance that all fear was destroyed. I had three treatments, and the third day the "trouble" peeled off like bark, and perfect toenails have been mine ever since.

I could not enumerate the healings that have been ours. My husband, at the time of my struggle, was in Arizona on account of lung trouble, and was unable to work. Finances were giving us much concern and the outlook was gloomy indeed. From that very time, however, things changed, and he has held a responsible position indoors and is growing into the precious truth that makes us free. Our two children have not had a drop of medicine since I was healed, and we find God a very present help. My main object in life is to live worthy of being known as a Christian Scientist and to help others to learn Truth's potency.
