I have received much encouragement from reading and hearing of the wonderful healings brought about by the power of God through Christian Science. From childhood I suffered with stoppage of the bowels, although my mother and my husband took me at different times to the best specialists. The last time I was told I could not live many years, that I was suffering from a tuberculous condition of the bowels. A friend asked me to go with her to a Wednesday evening meeting, and there I heard such wonderful testimonies of the healing and regenerative power of Christian Science that I felt "the peace of God, which passeth all understanding" descending upon me, and sought the help of a practitioner next day.

By the loving help of this Scientist, and the study of the Bible as interpreted in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, I gained a better understanding of the truth which sets us free, so that after two or three treatments I was completely healed. That was nine years ago, and since then I have not taken medicine, massage, or been treated by doctors. Not only was the physical healing wonderful, but the spiritual uplift gave me a brighter, happier outlook and the knowledge that divine Love truly meets all our problems.

I am striving daily to prove my gratitude to God for showing me the light of Truth, and through our Father's guidance to be the means of helping others to find it.
