Christian Science has been my only remedy since childhood, and when faithfully applied its results have been sure and immediate. During recent years I have to a great extent been able to overcome mental laziness, which had been a stumbling-block, and I find now that all physical difficulties are relieved more quickly and are many times prevented by a prompt realization of the truth.

One experience has caused me to be very grateful, because it demonstrated with positive proof the efficacy of Christian Science and came to me as balm to a disturbed state of consciousness. For eight days the bowels were totally inactive, but during that time I had no fear and felt no ill effects, because of the systematic declaration of God's allness and ever-presence. On the ninth day the stubbornness yielded; perfect and painless action was manifested, and has continued normal ever since. This is one of innumerable physical healings which have proved the power of divine Love as Christian Science teaches, but the greatest joy comes in the realization of sinful beliefs overcome and a growing ability to know God better. Each successive day brings greater cause for gratitude to Christian Science and to Mrs. Eddy, who has shown us how to draw near to God.
