My heart is filled with thankfulness to God, and with gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for all the blessings that Christian Science has brought into my life. Through it I have been healed of several ailments, also of the effects of a serious injury to my head some years ago. I had hired a studio in Scotland for a time, and owing to the wet weather the door was difficult to open. When I forced it open a long iron gutter on the roof became detached and fell on my head with full force. I suffered very much from the blow, and had to apply to a practitioner in Edinburgh for absent treatment. At the time I was young in Science, and the fear was great, especially as I knew that a woman in the town near by had had a similar accident, which proved fatal. In consequence of this fear my healing was slow, but after a time it was complete, and there have been no bad effects from the accident in any way since.

Discords, such as worry, anxiety about the future, depression, and many other inharmonies have been overcome, and I know there is no need to be troubled if I can but realize that God will direct my path if I seek His guidance and am obedient to Him. I am truly grateful to Mrs. Eddy for having given to the world that wonderful book "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." It is indeed a key to the Bible and a daily help for every need. Through reading this book I am gaining a better understanding of God and of man's relation to Him. I am most grateful for all the Christian Science literature which our revered Leader has so lovingly given us, and I thank God most earnestly for Christian Science.—
