I am happy to be able to testify to a marvelous healing which has restored harmony within myself and in my home. For twenty years I had suffered with a stomach disorder in a very severe from, and had been obliged to observe a rigid diet. Many physicians were consulted, all of whom made me feel discouraged, and every one had a different method of cure. In despair I went to a famous member of the Académie de Médecine; but this consultation left me with the conviction that I would never be cured.

One day Christian Science was mentioned to me. The wonderful ideas presented filled me with joy, and I marveled at the clearness of the teachings. The possibility of being healed then dawned upon me, and I went to see a Christian Science practitioner. I had three or four treatments, and can truthfully say that I was healed instantly. Seventeen months have elapsed since this miracle took place, and I enjoy splendid health. I am a soldier at present, and the food of the barracks, which cannot be called dainty, does not seem to have any detrimental effect upon my system.

It seems difficult for me to express in words the gratitude I feel for Christian Science, and for that admirable woman, Mrs. Eddy, who by her labors and her understanding of Truth was able to furnish humanity with an unfailing support.—
