I should like to testify to a healing experienced through Christian Science. In January, 1912, I fell from the top rung of a fourteen foot ladder, breaking one arm and throwing the shoulder out of place. My wife, hearing the fall, came out and told me to hold steadfastly to the truth that God is Life; but I did not seem to realize what she was saying until she got me into the house. Then I told her to get help, and she had a neighbor telephone for a practitioner, who came in about thirty minutes. She asked if I would like to have a surgeon set the bone, but I said that what God could not do for me man need not attempt, so she gave me treatment. In a few minutes the shoulder went back into place, and from that time on there was scarcely any pain. No material remedies were used, but the practitioner gave me absent treatment for about two weeks. In three weeks I attended church, and have never had any trouble with the arm since. It is in as normal a condition as before.

For this healing, and for other benefits received, as well as for the spiritual uplift, I am thankful to God, and grateful to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
