Deep gratitude impels me to testify to the great blessings I have received through Christian Science. In July, 1914, after having doctored for nearly a year for something that had grown over my eyes, my mother had them treated by a Christian Science practitioner and they were healed in a short time, so that I was able to read all I wanted to in just a few days. I can now see to do anything I wish to do. During that year I missed school and music, but have been able to make it all up with the help of Christian Science.

I can testify to the truth of what my daughter has written, and want to express my deep gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. It is an ever present help in all my daily trials. I have had many demonstrations of the power of Truth and am thankful to God for the understanding I have.
