Christian Scientists believe in the only true and living...

Christian Scientists believe in the only true and living God, and believe that mankind can be saved only through Christ, Truth, as Jesus taught and demonstrated. Christian Science is giving mankind a better understanding of Jesus' words and works, and this spiritual understanding has brought healing physically and morally to thousands of people. Christian Science increases our love for God and the Bible. Are Christian Scientists to be stoned from the pulpit for teaching mankind to have more faith in God even as Jesus commanded? Are Christian Scientists to be stoned by the clergy for having gained a more spiritual understanding of Jesus' teachings, which brings healing as the Master taught: "And these signs shall follow them that believe"?

Are those ministers who criticize and condemn Christian Science healing the sick through the gospel as Jesus commanded? If they are not obeying Christ's command to heal the sick in the way Jesus taught, the supremacy of Spirit over every material condition, does not the burden of proof rest with them rather than with Christian Scientists, who are striving to obey the Master's word? Would it not be well for the critics of Christian Science to give heed to Gamaliel's advice, "Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to naught: but if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God."
