I wish to tell what Christian Science has done for me, and to express my gratitude for these healings. In one treatment I was healed of a case of ivy poisoning so severe that my eyes were swollen shut. An enlargement of the neck, for which I had had medical treatment, has also disappeared. I have been healed of a tendency to take cold almost constantly, and have also been relieved from severe colds, which under the doctor's care used to last for months, and which kept me confined to the house when I had them. Any tendency in this direction which has manifested itself of late, has been readily overcome. During the hottest part of the summer of 1911 I was made so ill by the heat that I could not even sit up, and I had very severe pains in my head whenever I moved. A practitioner was called at once, and she gave me absent treatment. This happened about four o'clock in the afternoon, and by eight o'clock in the evening, with the exception of a slight weakness, I was entirely well.

I am very thankful to God, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for this understanding of the truth, which teaches us how to govern our thoughts so that we may live harmoniously every day.
